Immersion Heaters for Tanks & Vessels

Immersion Heaters for Tanks & Vessels

Industrial Immersion Heaters

Industrial heaters are critical components in process heating systems, designed to transfer thermal energy to liquids, gases, solids, or surfaces across a wide range of industries—from oil & gas to food processing, chemical, pharmaceutical, and power generation. At Integro Process Heating Solutions, we design and manufacture robust, energy-efficient heaters engineered to meet stringent thermal, mechanical, and safety requirements.

Each heater type is optimized for specific applications, media compatibility, heating rates, and control requirements.

Immersion Heaters for Tanks & Vessels banner

Integro immersion heaters heat liquids directly by inserting the heating element into the tank or vessel through a flange or screw-plug fitting. In direct contact with the fluid, they transfer heat efficiently with minimal loss — a reliable choice for heating water, oils, solvents, acids and process liquids in storage and process tanks.

We manufacture flanged, screw-plug and over-the-side immersion heaters with sheath materials (Incoloy, SS316, titanium and more) selected for your fluid, plus thermostats, thermowells and safety controls. Every unit is built to the required kW, watt density and dimensions for your vessel.

Not sure immersion heating is the right approach? Our inline circulation heaters heat fluid as it flows through a closed loop rather than sitting inside the tank, and if you also need the tank or vessel itself fabricated, we build and integrate both together.

Robust Construction

Designed for vertical or horizontal mounting. Replaceable heating elements (in flanged models) enable hassle-free servicing. Fabricated using high-grade stainless steel, Incoloy, Titanium or copper sheath depending on application. Heavy-duty flanges for secure tank mounting.

High Thermal Efficiency

Direct immersion into the medium ensures rapid and uniform heat transfer. Reduced energy losses compared to external heating methods.

Custom Engineering

Designed as per customer-specific process requirements (voltage, wattage, sheath material, dimensions).

Suitable for heating water, oils, chemicals, and gases.

Safe and Reliable Operation

Incorporation of temperature sensors (RTD/thermocouple) and thermostats for precise control. Over-temperature protection and safety interlocks can be integrated.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

Built to comply with relevant IS/IEC standards. Rigorously tested for insulation resistance, leakage current, and high-voltage performance.

Optional Control Panels

Can be supplied with compatible control panels for temperature regulation, alarms, and digital displays.

Proven Engineering Expertise

Integro brings decades of experience in designing and manufacturing precision-engineered immersion heaters for a wide range of industrial heating applications.

Tailor-Made Solutions

Every heater is customized to your exact process requirements — whether it's for water, oil, chemicals, or hazardous fluids. No one-size-fits-all approach.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is the difference between an immersion heater and a circulation heater?

A. An immersion heater sits directly inside a tank of liquid; a circulation heater is an enclosed unit that heats fluid flowing through it.

Q. Which sheath material should I choose?

A. It depends on the fluid — Incoloy for water and oils, SS316 for many chemicals, titanium for aggressive solutions.

Q. What fitting types are available?

A. Flanged, screw-plug and over-the-side configurations.

Q. Are thermostats and safety controls included?

A. Yes, we supply thermostats, thermowells and high-limit safety cut-offs.
